Delivery Driver
Purpose:
Homegrown Distribution is looking for a full-time Delivery Driver to join our enthusiastic distribution team. This individual will be responsible of the delivery of craft beer to restaurants, bars, and liquor stores in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Position entails a 40+ hour work week Tuesday -Friday.
Responsibilities:
Load and unload truck retail delivery trucks in safe, timely and accurate manner
Collect redeemable products such as empty kegs and empty cases to be returned and/or recycled
Ensure proper backstock rotation at every account.
Inspect and monitor delivery vehicle
Maintain a positive and professional attitude while engaged with customers
Drives safely and maintains a valid driver's license.
Ability to utilize a Smartphone and Zebra printer
Skills and Experience:
Valid and Clean driving record
Physically fit with ability to repetitively lift 175lbs consistently throughout the day
Lifting and stacking full cases
Ability to use an electric pallet jack
General writing and math skills
Good communication skills
Ability to provide a DOT medical card
Capable of reviewing packing lists, invoices, and bills of lading.
High School diploma or GED
Enthusiasm for craft beer
Reports to: Route Supervisor
Location of assignment: Bellingham, must have transportation
Estimated start date: ASAP
# Of Hours Per Week: 40+
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00/hour depending on experience
Experience: Delivery Driving 1+ Year
License/Certification: Valid Driver’s License, Current DOT Card
